In Melbourne, FL, Nathan’s concrete walkway had shifted and settled, causing the slabs to become uneven and creating significant tripping hazards. After contacting LRE Foundation Repair to request an inspection, our Customer Care team scheduled a free appointment with one of our local expert Design Specialists.

Upon taking a closer look, our specialist discovered that water pooling between Nathan’s property and his neighbor’s had caused the soil beneath the walkway to erode over time. A plan was created that included installing a new exterior drainage system to prevent further water pooling, along with lifting, leveling, and stabilizing the concrete walkway.

First, our team injected PolyLevel directly beneath the slabs to bring them back toward their proper, even position. Next, we sealed the control joints between the slabs with NexusPro to help prevent water intrusion and further soil erosion.

As a result, Nathan’s concrete walkway has been restored to a more even position, with the tripping hazards addressed and the slabs better protected against future settlement.
