Lifting and Leveling Concrete Pool Deck Walkway in St. Cloud, FL

In St. Cloud, FL, Stephanie’s concrete walkway leading to her home’s pool deck had settled considerably over the years, eventually sinking enough to become a dangerous tripping hazard. Hoping to avoid a full concrete replacement, she contacted LRE Foundation Repair to schedule a complimentary inspection.

Our Design Specialist visited Stephanie’s home, inspected the walkway, and confirmed that soil erosion beneath the concrete had caused the slabs to settle. To address the issue, our team utilized our Two-Part Concrete Protection System to lift, level, and stabilize the slabs. First, PolyLevel was injected directly beneath the concrete to stabilize the soil and raise the slabs back to their proper level. Next, the control joints between the slabs were sealed with NexusPro to prevent water from intruding beneath the walkway and causing further soil erosion.

In just a matter of minutes, Stephanie’s concrete walkway was fully restored to a safe, even surface and permanently stabilized against future settlement issues.
